Last point on your post was good, but you totally lost me to start. Denver has a losing record. They had the most points scored on them in league history this season. Just this week they should have lost due to their coaching. Typical Sean Payton fashion to have timeouts at the end of the game when you just need to kneel and kick a GW field goal. Somehow, they have to rush their FG unit on the field, and Lutz (a guy he traded for) missed the kick. They should have lost that game. Sean Payton was great for us, but let's not kid ourselves that he's being severely humbled right now in Denver.

This position is counter to a lot of talking heads who feel like the 3 game win streak is solely because Sean Payton is a great coach doing a great job. He is figuring out how to win with his Team. They have won 3 games in a row, including beating the World Champs.

Can you imagine how bad we would be if they accepted our offer? Plus, there would be no hope for the future. At least, we didn’t trade anything for Carr.

I still think the Herschel walker trade was worse, but they at least didn’t give up a fully guaranteed contract.

A lot of people seem to have forgotten the Browns saved the Saints from themselves. Watson visited New Orleans twice. The Saints were willing to throw a huge deal at him despite the allegations and his injury status. This alone should have Mickey Loomis on the hot seat with one foot clearly out the door……
