Haha we aren't close to being the Steelers. I'd love it if we were but I'm not holding my breath. We could use 3 of our first 4 picks to be on defense but knowing Payton it will only be 2, 1 wouldn't be a surprise either.

The steelers may have the best front seven of the past 7 years or so. I'm actually encouraged after how this last draft went down with guys like cam thomas slipping to the fifth and the year before that knighton slipping to the 3rd. I made the point in another thread that jamar chaney and dekoda watson both almost fell out of the draft. There is a lot of talent in later rounds for most of our secondary defensive needs beyond DE but i also don't want us to reach for a developmental offensive player again in rounds 1-2.

IT wouldn't surprise me if we took charles brown's teammate OT Tyron smith this year with one of our second or third round picks.
