Did y’all have an issue with Carr giving a shoutout to Dennis Allen after the win? (6 Viewers)

If you read it literally it's awkward (what exactly has been built except a losing team?), but I think it's just a player giving respect to a coach who's been in his life for a long time.

Nah, he complemented both. I’m going with petty.
Yeah I’m petty. Dont care. How many people have said this week “the fans/city deserved better”?!?! You don’t give credit to the guy who didn’t give us “better”. He tore it down, there’s no thanking that, or giving credit. Like I said, you give him credit, on your own time, not in front of everyone, when the entire dome was finally happy, while coming together to rejoice in a victory, that we haven’t seen in a loooooooooong time. Not the time and place. He lost games in historical fashion. Rizzi just literally flipped the script and pulled out a victory, while getting beat in dang near every statistical category. This was monumental and it was “His” moment. No one else’s

It was kind, the country could use more kindness. I'm sure Michael
Thomas spent enough time online hissing venom like a neutered raccoon if anyone wants to seek that world instead.
You are 💯 % correct that the world could use much much more kindness. Love empathy sympathy kindness and compassion are sorely lacking these days. 😊

You're ignoring that DC actually gave Rizzi the game ball...but carry on.

Yes, DA helped build this 3 win team........

You know darn well we’d have more wins if we didn’t lose our entire OL, all our receivers, our QB, etc. it works out good since most people didn’t want DA from the start. But the team that lost to Carolina last week isn’t the same team that blew them out week 1.

Carr was speaking like a mature and respectful adult. There's nothing to dislike about that.

Carr didn't just give credit to Allen for helping build the team, he also gave credit to Rizzi and said he was really happy for Rizzi getting his first win.

You can speak complimentary of two people at the same time. Speaking complimentary of one person is not an insult or slight to another. Mature and respectful adults understand that.

Whoever composed that tweet selectively quoted Carr to rile people up and it seems that some people have let themselves get riled up over nothing.

You don’t stand up there, after a game, speaking on behalf of the players (that is what he essentially did). He could’ve fired a text to him or called him to say that personally. Like the one tweet said “Read the room”. DC4, who I like, is still not widely accepted by the fanbase. He should have better awareness. Was it classy? Sure. Was it necessary? Not at all.
So, if you ever buy a new home build, that a zillion things goes wrong with it, be sure to thank the builder, and not the guy who is doing the necessary repairs to fix it. I’ve made my point.
Did the ask him about Allen ?
