I'm adding a poll to this thread. It's anonymous. I mean the data is there, but I just want to see the results.

The game sucked, but I don't really want to talk about that. It's one thing to lose a game, at home, but another to have fans from the other team celebrating in your row and in your section.

While there have been visiting fans at every game since the dawn of time, yesterday was the worst I've ever seen it. I'd say a good 30% of the lower bowl on the 49ers side was their fans. I'd say like 10% of my section (309) was 49ers fans. That's kind of absurd.

The reason why I'm posting this poll, is that I suspect, a lot of tickets are owned by ticket brokers who never go to games. Ever. The Saints should have access to this data, as they can see SeatGeek transfers. I would like them to take action against ticket holders who never go to games. I don't know that the granularity exists in their data to ID giving away tickets et al.

Also, please note, I understand people need money, and sometimes sell tickets for big games. But I also think we have a ticket broker problem, and with tens of thousands of people on a waiting list, that's not fair to them. If you sold your tickets, please say yes, that's cool. Thanks for your data and Who Dat.

I'm on 4th row in Girod EZ, four of them directly in front of me and more scattered around. Ton of them in Girod EZ, made me sick!

I listed mine for $550 a ticket with the thought that if someone wanted to give me $1100 for a game, have at it.. and I could use that money to pay for my playoff tickets. I pulled them on Friday and went to the game... I left the game when it was apparent to me that the NFL or at least the refs had an agenda and would have influence over the game.. There's no reason to go, no reason to get loud, no reason to spend my entire Sunday driving to New Orleans or any of that.. I still love the Saints but I accept what the NFL has become. From this point forward, I will treat my tickets which I have had since 2002 as a business and if I don't feel like going, I will sell them and make as much money off them as I am able to. If people do not like it, too bad!

Also, I have no problem with people selling their tickets, they are there's to do with as they see fit. Just like with anything else people buy, they can do with it as they want.

Im still of the opinion the SEC Championship game was a huge reason for the disparity. The lower bowl being having that many only reinforces my belief. It sucks that it fell on this particular weekend. Who could have predicted two of the largest games in South Louisiana 2019 would fall within 24 hours of each other. However be 600 miles away from each other. I’m not going to begrudge anyone getting premium dollars for the tickets they own. This game being played weekend before last week or this coming weekend I don’t see it happening. Just the perfect storm for the wealthy fair weather Bay Area fans to show up.

I did not. But, I have no problem with anyone who did. I never judge anyone's personal finance situation. If they can make major $ off one game, and in the same breath have a less stress free Christmas or pay for their playoff tickets, more power to them.

I said it yesterday, for all the 49ers fans there, they still made no impact on the game. NONE. The only impact they made is the annoyance they caused Saints fans saying "Ugh, there's a lot of red here today." Not once did you see Brees or anyone on the team get rattled by the contingent of 49ers fans.

Part of the reason why I'm so focused on the lower bowl, is those tickets cost about $3k/season ticket (in the club section anyway). Assuming no one is buying 1 ticket, you aren't broke if you are laying out $6k for tickets. I seriously wonder how many of those tickets are held by brokers, which is what I would like the Saints to identify.

If individuals sell their tickets to a game or 3, that's fine, but if someone literally never goes to a game, shouldn't someone who would go and support the team get a chance to buy tickets at face value? It was my observation that the upper deck had a lot less red in it than down below (I sit in 309, and like I said, about 10%, more than normal, but it wasn't like the lower bowl)

a friend of mine on the inside at the Saints Org said after the amount of fans of the 49ers, talk in the org is that they are going to start filming the dome during games and reviewing seats and sections to determine whether or not they cancel season tickets. i didnt realize it but she said as per season ticket rules they can be revoked at anytime without reason. She also said that there will be a tip line possibly going out so you can report specific seats that are being sold consistently. sounds like they are going to tighten this up.

That's exactly what I wanted to hear.

The seats in my row are always different people, but have almost always been Saints fans. I haven't checked to see if they are for sale.

That is fantastic news!

Exactly. And just because there were chunks of red, I think people are really over-estimating the number of niners fans there. I ended up not going (a Saints fan went in my place) and they said that even though there were large chunks of fans sitting together, it couldn't have been more than around 10,000 niners fans. Out of 70-something thousand seats, yeah, you'll hear some cheering when they do something good, but there's no way they're going to have any affect on the game being played on the field. Definitely not making it a "neutral field game" like their moron running back claimed. Even Kittle said after the game it was the wildest game crowd-wise he's ever been a part of. Garoppolo was covering both of his ear holes on his helmet for the entire game trying to get the play call in.
