NFL DK Metcalf requests trade [update: Steelers trade 2nd round pick for DK Metcalf and signed Metcalf to a new 5yr/$150M deal] (13 Viewers)

The Saints must make this trade! They should give Seattle three 1sts, four 3rds, pay the stadium's 2025 sales taxes to Washington State, and underwrite DeShaun-type massage sessions for the Seahawk team.

Then, they should extend DK with a 25 year deal worth 3 billion dollars, with 2.9B guaranteed.

The salary cap is rising year-over-year so this should be just fine.

Who's throwing him the ball? Russ or Fields?

Good deal for the Steelers.

I wanted DK, but that extension is huge.

He'll get to 10K yards in about 3 years, he'll probably also finish his career with near 100 TDs and somewhere in the 11-12K yards, that's what the Steelers are paying for.

For once Steelers actually got a wide receiver!!
Huh? They actually draft the position very well. Antonio, Juju, Paxico, Hines. Most of them turn into divas in recent years but their scouts are good at the position.

Could be Darnold? People keep saying Seattle, but Seattle doesn't have anyone for him to throw to anymore.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a legit possession playmaker. He had a 100 reception year last season which included about 6 games of 7+ recs. He popped off a
7-180-2 line in one of them. He seemed more reliable than DK last year. Kubiak will be able to run the pass offense through him. Seattle just has to find a new deep threat in the draft with one of their early round picks.

I hear ya, but Seattle is in full offense rebuild mode. Darnold has been on a team like that before. I doubt he wants to return to it unless the money is absolutely massive. He's only 27 and has another couple of contracts in him if he chooses a place. Seattle seems risky.
