I'm out.Must.not.repeat. Must.not.repeat.
You just know I'm not going to make it even this far.
It's the effort that counts. At least it had cooled down to an autumn-like 96 degrees instead of 98.I'm out.
Not to derail but do all of the protein supplements use soy? I simply cannot tolerate the taste.
If you're referring to soy lecithin, a lot of powders do. It's used to thicken and create a creamy texture. Not to derail but do all of the protein supplements use soy? I simply cannot tolerate the taste.
No, they don't. I use a Whey based protein supplement. I does have Lecithin but doesn't mention it as a soy based one. You're not going to taste it anyway, because its a very minor ingredient. There are several non-soy based protein supplements. Most protein supplements are whey or pea based. Pea based tastes,,, well,,, terrible. Whey is derived from milk. Get a lactose free one if you have any lactose issues. Not to derail but do all of the protein supplements use soy? I simply cannot tolerate the taste.
Truer words never spoken
Your pumpkin slander is a bit much - like potatoes, pumpkin (or acorn squash or mirliton, et al) don’t have much of a taste at all - which is why it can be a great vehicle for spicesWhich brings up one of my issues with the pumpkin spice thing. People talk like it's pumpkin, but its the spices you use to hide the flavor of pumpkin, not the flavor of pumpkin itself. Pumpkin tastes terrible and is only edible if seasoned with spices that hide the taste. So, yeah, apple is far superior. I've had pumpkin pie one time in my life and my reaction was who the hell would eat this unless they were starving?
If the craze was for spiced apple (cinnamon, sugar, maybe some nutmeg), I would understand it more.
