No, they don't. I use a Whey based protein supplement. I does have Lecithin but doesn't mention it as a soy based one. You're not going to taste it anyway, because its a very minor ingredient. There are several non-soy based protein supplements. Most protein supplements are whey or pea based. Pea based tastes,,, well,,, terrible. Whey is derived from milk. Get a lactose free one if you have any lactose issues.
Yeah, soy/pea protein is a meh source of protein for sure. For vegans it's good because it's "something" vs. nothing. Taste is terrible.

But the king would be whey isolate as it is super bioavable.

Your pumpkin slander is a bit much - like potatoes, pumpkin (or acorn squash or mirliton, et al) don’t have much of a taste at all - which is why it can be a great vehicle for spices
Pumpkin ravioli is awesome, pumpkin gnocchi is awesome
Pumpkin pancakes can be awesome
But I agree with your contention that ‘spice’ is carrying the burden of ‘pumpkin spice’
Man, I love squash. I eat a ton of it. It's filling, contains good micronutrients, and low cal.

That said, I have to agree that it's bland unless you spice it up.

Gross.

I guess it's just easier to say "pumpkin" than, Gimme a cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, and allspice smoothie.

I think those are essentially the same or very similar spices to Chai, except lacking Cardomom. Why can't we just have Chai smoothies?

FWIW, lecithin is just an emulsifier.
