Do you think we'll Hear about this ALL WEEK (1 Viewer)

Saints have NEVER won a Road Playoff Game

I certainly hope we hear all week long
and then after this week
I hope we hear
they can't win on the road in the playoffs against a team with a winning record
discounting our Seattle Win
that would be awesome

Whether we hear about it or not, it's been on my mind ever since we clinched a spot...it's time to put that to rest..."this ain't you daddy's Saints....." :)

We'll be hearing how we can't win playoff games on the road. You know, all the many playoff road games that the Saints have lost throughout the years......um, OK, well, maybe not that many, but there were a couple.

I think we will be hearing about how the Seahawks have no chance. I hope the Saints don't buy it. Hopefully, this will be a tune up for Brees heading into a brutal Divisional Round looming.

Oh, the Saints will buy it alright. They've bought that stuff all year.

Yep, this is my concern. The motivating forces will all be in Seattle's favor this week. Payton's challenge will be to keep the team focused and players' minds off the headlines.

Dont forget the 12th man.An all year everybody said the NFC West is the worst Division in the NFL....Now that there playing the SB Champs, all of a sudden they have a good chance to knock the champs off..:smilielol:

I'm sure the 0-3 record will be mentioned, yes.

But no, we won't be beaten over the head with it. I agree that most of the emphasis will be on the Seahawks' home game at 7-9, and how they'll be totally outclassed.

I'm sure an expert or two will predict an upset, because that's what they do. But even if you're looking for disrespeckt leading up to this one, it's going to be hard to find.

As for this 0-3 record, correct me if I'm wrong, but only one of those losses is under the current coaching staff and QB, right? Meaning, "this team" has played 1 game on the road and lost in horrid conditions.

It's a false myth (redundant?), and we'll get a chance to prove it.

If only there was some sort of relevant stat that shows that the Saints could win on the road to counter that with. Hmmmm.

Nope. Don't see it. Guess we will have to rely on a stat that is based on the fact that the Saints haven't played a road playoff game since 2006. Oh well.

All I'm hearing about is the Browns and how the they fired Mangini. Make it stop already!!! :banghead:

Saints played the Hawks not all that long ago. They know what they're up against. We won that game 34-19, I think. It was a better game than the score may show. We'll be ready.
