I'm not really sold on any QB but I would take Cam Ward at 9 if he is there. Just because I would take a chance on QB until you find the right one.

The DE Carter maybe. Other than that there's no one that i HAVE to HAVE and can't trade down. I'd be happy with Graham or the WR (McMillan)? But I'd rather grab picks.

Jeanty, Warren and Graham. Dart but only if Moore has complete belief in him as "his guy". But to me, Jeanty, Warren and Graham are the 3 I want at @9. It's really possible all 3 are off the board by the time we pick in which I want to trade down.

Carter is probably the best player in this draft. He won't make it to 9, but if he did there shouldn't be a maybe by his name to draft. You take him.

I know this sounds bad, but it depends on who is available and what would be the offer for our pick.

I don't see a team going for the riches this year with a mega offer for the 9th pick, so I think it's go BPA, hoping to find a guy that will be an anchor for what we are trying to build.

If Carter, Graham and Jeanty are off the board, I might trade down, but I'd have to stay in the 1st.

I want high draft capital next year or 2nd/3rds this year.

It really all depends on what happens between now and the draft. Do we need a QB or not. I'm not touching a QB at 9.

I'd love to see them trade down in the draft for extra picks, but they haven't done it in 16 years.

They've traded up 26 times during that period, wouldn't expect anything to change.

In my opinion Tetairoa McMillan is another prospect you don't trade down if he is sitting there at 9.




If those 3 are gone it would behoove the Saints to trade back & pick up another 2nd round pick to fill needed positions.

Have to find a partner for a trade down. This is the highest pick the Saints have had in a while, so I’d keep the pick unless they get an offer by a team reaching for someone.

I would love to trade down.
I've been quite vocal about that. Sai ts need young talent everywhere.

I would trade down no matter who fell to us at #9 if the haul is good. The better the player to fall, the better the bounty. I think a trade back into the late teens or early 20s, plus a 2nd and a 3rd, and a pick next year would be ideal. We really need to recoup some of the picks we've traded away over the past 5 years. We've drafted the least amount of players of any team over that period and our depth shows it. We need as many 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounders as we can get.
