NFL Draft Drew Allar. Never forget that I’m the guy who projected Jayden Daniels in 2022 (1 Viewer)

Yeah that’s probably the best defense in the country. He was rattled for sure but he needs challenges like that to learn how to stay within his game.

And he definitely got away from his mechanics. If Penn State faces OSU again in the Big Ten championship he could have a better game and see what they’re throwing at him.
They are NOT the best defense in the country. Texas, Ole Miss, and Tennesse are all significantly better at defense than OSU. OSU so far this year has played a bunch of powder puffs, and Oregon and Penn State.

Gabriel (the Oregon QB) was 23/34 for 341 and 2 TDs against OSU.

Besides Oregon and Penn State, OSU played Akron, Marshall, W Michigan, Iowa, and Nebraska. The only legitimate offense they played was Oregon and they lost that game after giving up 32 points.

We need #44 Warren also! He looks a lot like Kelce.
THAT's the guy I want, and he'll be a 1st rounder. He lines up at TE, FB, WR, takes wildcat snaps, and throws TDs (played QB in HS)....he's our JOKER replacement for TH7, who is now 35 and still somewhat fragile.

Everything the OP says about Allar is true. However, not sure Allar has "it", and I'm a die hard PSU fan. He doesn't seem to elevate those around him, and isn't what I'd call clutch...playing well in big moments. Someone will take him in the 1st, but I hope it's not the Saints. I think he'll be a typical PSU QB in the NFL. High-end backup to marginal starter. He may have "elite" physical characteristics and measurements, but I don't see those QB traits in his intangibles. I'll buy the OP a beer if I'm wrong.

Good stuff. Allar is still only 20y.o. He'd be well served to come back for another year. He has big-time upside but so did Christian Hackenburg.

Yup Warren and Loveland (Michigan) are interchangeable as the number 1 TEs on most Draft Boards that I have read. Both of them could be first rounders.

I'd LOVE if the Saints drafted Warren, but we would have to take him in the first.

Allar is a projected 3rd or 4th rounder. The draft profiles I have read says his ball placement is erratic and he has sloppy footwork, struggles with pre-snap recognition and post snap reads.

The upside is big tho, He's big, even by NFL standards 6'5" 250lbs and has a big time arm. He's tough, has a quick release, and has nice anticipation. He's gonna be the youngest QB in the draft. He's only 20 now and will be 21 when he gets to the NFL.

Good try, no one is ever replacing Taysom

dude is 35 and will have to be replaced someday. go watch Warren/PSU film and tell me he doesn't remind you of TH7 playing Joker. TH7 is a better passer, and faster, but Warren is bigger and stronger, and is pretty durable. We would do well to have Warren playing Joker in Black & Gold.

Never forget your projection? Man, I don't know who you are.

IDK about Allar but that Penn State tight end is a player we need to have on our team. Dude is a hoss.

Their post buried somewhere where I said the prize in the draft was gonna be Jayden. But I also figured Caleb was gonna be more a bust than what's been shown thus far to.

Prior to that I predicted Bryce wasn't an NFL QB and still never understood what footage exist of him at Alabama that showed that he would be an NFL caliber QB. Had the Panthers not sold to get him, I dunno if he would of ever landed in the 1st rd.

Not as fast as TH7, and can't throw as well as TH7, but bigger, stronger, and better pass catcher. Watch the PSU-USC game from about 2-3 weeks ago. Warren put PSU on his back and dragged that team to a victory and set some NCAA TE records in the process. Have I mentioned how durable he has been over his collegiate career?

I seldom "key in" on a single guy for the draft, but i WANT this dude in B&G. Fills multiple holes in the roster and is a chess piece in a Shanny/Kubiak offense. JMO...

As a huge Penn State fan I would say Allar is a third round pick. He struggled last year and is improved this year but he still has more growth that needs to be achieved. Warren is a player that should be on our radar.
