I've been living away from New Orleans for 13 years. I still tear up when I think about the pain and suffering my HOME has been through. Not my home as in a house, but my HOME. I can never thank Drew enough for the love he has given our city.

It seems surreal after all these years to have a player of this caliber representing our team.

Putting things in perspective, from the hopelessness of cashing in my entire season ticket package to see the Saints one last time, albeit in Tiger Stadium, to looking through this thread while texting my people the price of their playoff tickets this year....

....it's unbelievable. It's an honest to goodness dream come true.

So true, Lipstead, no way I could make it without tears. I can't say enough about Drew Brees. That he is a New Orleans Saint is such a godsend... I just can't think of anybody that could have done what he has in the relatively short time he's been in NOLA. An ambassador of the city, the fans, the team and the NFL... a man among men who has captured the heart of not only NOLA and the Who Dat Nation, but I believe a huge part of the country as a whole.

There is nobody more deserving than Drew. I am so proud of him and happy for him! God bless you, Drew. We love you. :1luvu:
