Any other former player besides Jerry West have any success in the front office our their sport? He’s all I can think of

Pat Riley, Danny Ainge, Ozzie Newsome, and John Elway. The all time greats mostly seem to stay away, but several personnel people are former players. More basketball players seem to get in more than football players. Including Jim Finks.

Very possible, it would be wonderful to keep Saints ownership in-state after Miss Gayle passes on, hopefully many years from now.

I could see Drew coming back to the NFL as a coach and I think he'd do well. Checks the offensive genius mind box as well as the leader of men box. Not sure it would be in New Orleans, but Id be down for it.

Out the box I think he'd be a the ultimate QB coach and help with the game plan. Pretty sure he would be a good fit for OC and eventually HC.

Only question is whether he would ever want that. I gave up a lifetime of performing on Augus 15, 2015. I absolutely loved it, but it was time. Since then, I have moments where I miss it and think about one more ride. Then the moment passes and Im over it for a while.

I can see Drew having those moments as well. In my case, I know my wife and kids suppported what I was doing for years. When I hung it up, it was their turn. Time for me to pay it back, mostly by being present more. I'd have to consider them more than myself before a re-start. Im sure Drew is in the same boat.

Probably so. Just saw a Bounty commercial either yesterday or day before with Brees and Reggie Bush. Thought it was odd.

Problem with Brees in any position like that... He's too nice and tries too hard not to step on anyone's toes.
