As George Carlin observed, think about how stupid the AVERAGE person is; then recognize that 50% are even "stupider than that". But 100% are convinced they are "above average". Dunning-Kruger...

And the Dunning-Kruger effect also means that no one is as smart as they think they are, because the less smart you are the smarter you think you are and the smarter you are the less smart you think you are.

The actual geniuses don't run around bragging about being a genius. If someone is bragging about how smart they are, they aren't actually smart.

This all day.....we simply need to find a way to draft better than we have the last few years, that in combination with finding players that can stay healthy....and perhaps improvement in the support (medical, strength) staff as well.....

I wonder want answered is if they actually added 2 years or instead simply redid the 2 years left on the current contract. The problem with these early reports on deals is that they are mostly inaccurate. The media rush to be the first to report a deal only to find out later the report is wrong due to details not reported.

absolutely! I've known several VERY smart people (IMO) over my lifetime, and NONE of them has ever said a word about their intelligence. That's MY assessment. I've also known several folks in my life who like to remind everyone else how smart they are, and we should listen to what they have to say. None are as smart as they say they are, and a few are absolute morons. No use in explaining anything though....they already know. LOL!
