Early take on how we match up next week vs. Dallas? (2 Viewers)

I do not know if it has been said already but the 49ers offense gives the Cowboys defense fits everytime they play. We have Kubiak from that same offense. We just need Taysom to take on the Deebo role and Kamara just be Kamara and we will be alright.
Does it matter that the Cowboys have a different DC now?

That 33 points is a little misleading. Dallas only had 2 legit scoring drives on Cleveland. They had a punt return TD then a bunch of very short field FGs as shown:

5 plays, 17 yards--FG
4 plays, 1 yard--FG
6 plays, 14 yards--FG
6 plays, 10 yards--FG

That's where having to rely on ol man Ezekiel Elliot and Brandin 'concussed' Cooks shows up.

Great observation. I think people are more intimidated by Dallas than they should be, in part because they felt like they watched them dominate the Browns, but the domination really wasn’t all that impressive and was a bit of a mirage, especially factoring in the way Watson is playing.

Similar things could likely be said about us, but the point is that I don’t expect Dallas to be anything special or unformidable for us.

I don’t expect much of anything from their running game for one thing, and that in itself could be the difference.

Pressure Dak, don’t turn the ball over, put up about 23-24 points, and we can walk out of there with a win I think.

You have to beat the Cowboys defensive line to beat the Cowboys.

I love what I saw today. We couldn't have done much better that what we did. I also know the Panthers may not win a game this season and we got to open against them at home.

Carr's TD pass to Moreau was an absolutely terrible decision that happened to work out. I saw no pressure today from the Panthers. If we get blocking like that we are going to score a ton of points. I love our defense against the Cowboys, we'll hold them to under 20 and it'll be up to the offense. I do like that we stayed aggressive all game today on offense. It allows us to start building something bigger when we could have killed clock after the half.

I've been really down on Carr and this offense. Today (one game) isn't going to change that but I'm hoping it the beginning that leads me to eating a murder of crows.
Our new OC is going to scheme Micah Parsons so they limit his production . That’s what he is great at. He schemes away from people and he schemes ways to hide and limit our weaknesses.

I don't know that it's people are intimidated by Dallas as much as it's they're not sure what they saw from the Saints was real. When was the last time the Saints dominated an opponent like they did the Panthers on Sunday? I think it's more wondering if last Sunday was a mirage more than it's being scared of the Cowboys.

Yep. BTW, I saw a post by person on Twitter earlier today who also said that DAL D n Parsons HAVE struggled against the wide zone blocking scheme.

So we’ll see Sunday

Ive seen teams have success running at Parsons side. Remeber the Bills game last year. Seen two drives at running at Parson every play for scores. Penning still a sucker for a inside counter move so i can see that coming to head. Hes not and never will be a containment guy on the line.

It might....one of the reason Zimmer was brought in is because he has historically fared well against the Shanahan tree offense. The question will be is how much has his defense evolved in the last few years in conjunction with the Shanahan style offense.
