I might just cool off on this team for a while and walk away if this indeed happens...If a hire like this happens, then it just tells me they are going through the motion and throwing ish on the wall and seeing what sticks.

It's just a lazy hire since it will be either an "in house hire" who has gotten no other interviews this year and another coach who hasn't proved anything to me with the Steeler's O this year.

Raheem Morris was the DC for the rams. I imagine he is going to bring lots of people over from there and it was likely part of his interview with the falcons. We didn’t even offer Robinson a second interview.

If by Tuesday we haven’t made any more second interviews or a hire I would get antsy.

That’s 3 people we’ve interviewed gone in Waldron, Pitcher and Robinson. I’m sure the DA supporters, who furiously claim that this is a really attractive job, will soon be here to make excuses but it’s beginning to look like those of us who thought we’d struggle, to hire one of the sought after candidates, were absolutely correct.
