Falcons hired Zac Robinson as OC (4 Viewers)

I said “another poster,” you’re not that poser. so get your facts straight before clowning and crying.

You did like the other poster’s comment though.

You said "another similar poster" and then proceeded to agree with Elvis who claimed I was "citing a single Loomis hire from nearly two decades ago as evidence that he is good at identifying great offensive coaches?" So, my facts are straight despite you misquoting yourself.

I'm sorry if the clown hurt your feelings.

You did cite a single Loomis hire from nearly two decades ago as evidence that he is has a repeatable skill set to do it again when you said "And what would the guy who hired Sean Payton know about identifying a great offensive mind". If you want to backtrack, fine. That is what you are implying.

I cited it as evidence that the claim that he knows nothing about the offensive side of football was not true. That was the post I was responding to. Context means everything. I have no reason to backtrack from that statement.

I said nothing about "repeatable skill" and wasn't in anyway implying that getting Sean right was evidence that he had some special skill at identifying great offensive minds. I'm simply saying that he hired Sean who was an offensive coordinator so he must know something about what it takes to be a good OC and a good offensive mind. That does not mean that he will get it right this time or that he has some special skill at identifying offensive minds. But, it does mean that it is foolish to say that he knows nothing about offensive football, not only because he did hire Payton, but he also watched him coach the team for 15 years. He was also around Drew Brees on a daily basis for almost 15 years. And to be clear, no being around Brees and Payton for 15 years does not mean he has a special skill at picking offensive minds or QBs, but it does mean that he is highly likely to know something about the offensive side of football.

You created the idea that I was taking that position so you would have a nice easy strawman to knock down. But it wasn't what I said or what I implied no matter how many times you claim it is. But, please go on creating the narrative that you want to create while ignoring what I wrote and the context it was written in.

That’s a lot of word salad with no dressing. Any reasonable person knows what you were saying and there just isn’t even close to enough evidence to come to that conclusion. If you’re saying you were trying to say something else, you’re doing a poor job of communicating it.

You can believe whatever you want. But, I do agree that all the reasonable people do know what I was saying.
