Falcons hired Zac Robinson as OC (1 Viewer)

Falcons being who they are, the type of team that goes after players on division rivals, will go and sign Mayfield from the Bucs if they can't draft someone.

You don’t think Mayfield will be signed before the draft?

He’s already helped Mayfield revive his career out of the salvage yard. Maybe he thinks he could do the same with Ridder after he was taught by Artie Smith.

Thing that should have everybody worried is you have Mickey Loomis & Dennis Allen sitting in on Offensive Coordinator interviews when neither one of those clowns know anything about offense. How will they determine if any of these guys are a good fit? Telling sign is Loomis has requested interview with brian Johnson of Eagles who has always been around mobile QB's. Last time i checked Carr is not mobile. He done requested a 2nd interview with Jerrod Johnson who has one year experience as a QB coach with one year as an assistant QB coach.. Sounds way to inexperienced to make leap to O.C overnight.

I might just cool off on this team for a while and walk away if this indeed happens...If a hire like this happens, then it just tells me they are going through the motion and throwing ish on the wall and seeing what sticks.

It's just a lazy hire since it will be either an "in house hire" who has gotten no other interviews this year and another coach who hasn't proved anything to me with the Steeler's O this year.

Can't support a team that refuses to better themselves

That's just non-sense.
I know you don’t mean that. Come on man, we are THE WHO DAT NATION!!!! We supported this team when we were the Aints, and we will never stop shouting WHO DAT from the mountain tops. WHO DAT!!!!!

This makes the Morris hire make a lot more sense. Seems like this was a package deal. The falcons get a defensive minded guy with head coaching experience for HC and a bright up and coming offensive mind at OC.

The logic is sound I guess but still, Raheem Morris? Maybe I haven't seen enough of Morris but I just remember him standing on the sidelines watching the game like he was a fan. Or an equipment guy. Never saw him talking or anything. He would just stand there. He made Jim Caldwell look animated and engaged.

That’s 3 people we’ve interviewed gone in Waldron, Pitcher and Robinson. I’m sure the DA supporters, who furiously claim that this is a really attractive job, will soon be here to make excuses but it’s beginning to look like those of us who thought we’d struggle, to hire one of the sought after candidates, were absolutely correct.
Or we’ve already made our hire and they are currently coaching their own teams today?

Atlanta looks like they going to be fire. We better have a good offseason.
Fire? As in dumpster fire?

A lot of people here were absolutely certain that the offseason moves the Panthers made last year were going to make them "fire." Turns out they were right. The Panthers were a dumpster fire last season.
