It sounds like Washington is waiting on Ben Johnson. Vrable is interesting. Maybe his visible unhappiness with some Titans personnel decisions have soured GMs on him. No one wants someone second guessing their choices.

Morris will be a good coach. He’s done well as both a DC and OC. I think he’s matured and players respond to him. I think this is a good hire.

Maybe not, they have Robinson but London does not impress me and Pitts has declined since his rookie yr. They have the two worst QB's in the division if not the NFC. and will probably miss out on the top 3 prospects in the draft. If Robinson comes in and kills it, 1st DA is not going anywhere and 2nd he will get HC offers for turning the O around

They are saying Zac Robinson is the lead candidate as his OC. We are chuckling at the hire but the reality is Falcons already have a strong "base" and him getting the right OC and QB in there will be interesting.

I took a different viewpoint. I don’t wanna make anything about race solely cause Morris is a hell of a Defensive Coordinator, but I think Arthur Blank wanted a “ Cultural Fit “ kind of coach. Younger than BB and can relate to where the majority of these young men are coming from. I think Blank has had a problem with “ Buy in “ from a player and fan standpoint and I don’t see that being a problem with Morris at the helm. Atlanta has long been a proud black city, with HBCUs and many prominent leaders of the black community. I think Blank sees that it may be a black coach that gets the buy in from the not only the players but the city as a whole.

He could’ve been done that as he has to interview a black or minority coach to satisfy the Rooney Rule , but I think he’s found the coach that checks the other boxes as well.

I coach youth football in inner city Atlanta. The kids say they want Cam Newton , Lamar Jackson , a Michael Vick at QB. I think that’s what’s to come next for them a la Justin Fields.

Hell id say this much , I might attend a few Falcons games this year should they pull it off.

They have the potential to be entertaining at the very least
