Superman was on the other night, this scene is like the Jaws Indianapolis scene to me in the sense that as a kid i thought it was the most boring part of the movie, when we got it on video I would fast forward through it



As an adult the most boring part is clearly Lois' poem

More subtle and not nearly as well remembered, but far more frightening, as we see today.

Also probably the better performance. Beatty was on screen for all of 5:53 the entire movie and it got him a Best Supporting Actor nomination.

Finally watched network recently for the first time
