I think I counted 3 balls thrown into the End Zone from inside the 15-yard line. One to Sheed (TD), one to MT and another to Olave. Other than that, it's all bubble screens and sideline out routes. Terrible. However, the OL is a serious disappointment that should have been known and addressed before the end of camp. LT Tackle & both Guards need to be addressed.

Yes, we have what is supposed to be a decent Qb, a talented trio of WRs. Best I can recall, Kamara, Hill and a decent TE group. Yet this is all the firepower the staff can get out of these players

If you want to salvage the season you have to make the move. The defense shut down the Texans in the second half and our offense couldn’t finish drives and relied on a now basket case kicker.

It’s funny the one week Pete almost looked competent was the week he threw in a bunch of plays he’d never call to spite all the reporters that were tearing him down … and they worked.

He looked competent because we played a bad team. People fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

A good scheme, well prepared players and good play calling makes the QB and line look better. The incompetent play calling is what we can see in the moment but the other parts of the job that Pete sucks at are evident in other ways.

Players are lost and disengaged. It’s not just playcalling on game day. He sucks all week, every week.

Totally agree about the players seeming disinterested. I just don’t know how coaching can make an oline actually block? They seem to be terrible more often than not.

If you are in practice all week and see the incompetent preparation of your coaches and know you have a terrible plan for the game, it’s human nature to disengage a little. You still don’t want to see it, but I can understand it.

They just Paid Ruiz and McCoy.

Best you can do is kick your 1st round bust inside to LG and get a new LT to see if you can transform that side of the line in one year.

You have to get a run oriented OC tho. It’s a must or Carr isn’t going to survive to give ROI.

I’m just sad as we will finish middle of the pack as usual, and if we’re not going to contend then I think we need a top 5 pick.

Personally, I don't blame Carmichael except that one boneheaded call. Our lack of production is all on the offense line.
