I'm going to start calling Max "Karen Verstappen" if he keeps this up...God he complains and tattles a ton...pretty sure he closed up ~3s during the VSC...but complained Leclerc was closing under yellow

He didn’t. The gap was 1.5s before the VSC.

Likely scenario is he dropped back a little to cool his car and then closed the gap back again when the cars were cleared and VSC was going to end.

All cars will have a delta to stick to/not exceed. If leclerc had pulled out ahead by 3 seconds for that long he would have got a penalty, likewise max would have got a penalty if his delta didn’t allow him to close the gap back to 1.5 seconds.

It also allowed him to carry more speed into the restart which ultimately won him the race because he instantly caught up and gained DRS.

Every great driver is a massive complainer.
