I was very impressed with Norris and Russel in that race as well. Leclerc has been racing nearly flawlessly this season.

Yeah CLC was so strong today. He did have that one slip on the restart after the safety car about halfway through - he got a good jump but then got wide and had to back off and Max was all over him. But the Ferrari was just too strong.

Will be interesting to see how it progresses, sometimes you have a trend in early results that doesn't hold once the season really gets going. But there's so much new and different this year, it's not weird to think that we would have a somewhat different points battle.

I'm going to start calling Max "Karen Verstappen" if he keeps this up...God he complains and tattles a ton...pretty sure he closed up ~3s during the VSC...but complained Leclerc was closing under yellow

“The Aston Martin is really slow. It definitely needs more grip, because our tyres were stone cold.

“We went into the last corner and I could see Charles understeering, so I’m like ‘OK I’ll back off a bit more and get a better line’.

“But it’s pretty terrible, the way we are driving behind the safety car at the moment.”
