Fujita retires as a Saint (1 Viewer)

Machu Picchu, Steve Gleason, Retiring a Saint. Nothing but WIN here, fellas. Proud to be part of the Who Dat Nation!

Great move, love Fujita. Even more so now with all the worth he is doing with Steve / Team Gleason.

Also- where can I get that shirt? I need one of those

I agree. Those two guys are amazing and they're both truly inspirational. I'm all for a bio film.

:worthy: to the Asian Assassin

Great move by the Saints! It's only fitting the Scott retires as a Saint. Congratulations and welcome back to the Who Dat Nation!!!

Thanks for the memories!
In 2006 I had my dream list of free agents I wanted on our roster:
1. Drew Brees
2. Komeateau (butchered the spelling)
3. Scott Fujita

2 outta 3 ain't bad... cue in Meat Loaf.

(got us a Lombardi!)

The first post-Katrina free agent signing and a very important part of the superbowl defense. I think I'll go eat some of those vanilla creme oreos in celebration. They're just a few feet away in the next room. Yum! I doubt that I can eat them faster than Fujita, though.

Im not the type of person easily inspired by others. But how can u not be inspired by Gleason. Seriously. This guys is staring down a demoralizing, ruthlessly fatal disease and giving it middle finger.

I was always bummed when we lost Fujita to Cleveland. He was a good player and leader. I'm glad he got paid though, and I'm happy for him retiring as a Saint and on his own terms.

So happy Scott retired as a Saints player! He is my all time favorite in all the years I have been a Saints fan ,and that is from the beginning of the franchise. Best of luck to him in the rest of his life's endeavors and I hope he knows New Orleans will always consider him a hero and one of our own. He is such a wonderful, honorable man!
