Football forums were definitely a lot closer to being a rerun of "Married With Children" in the mid-2000s, than not. Particularly that post where the guy is giving advice on saying all the things a woman wants to hear in regards to her weight, appearance etc.
That's not even getting into the Brooks/Delhomme debates, where it wasn't terribly uncommon to see something like "lol are you his boyfriend?" towards someone who was vehemently defending one of those QBs while bashing the other.
