Getting Taysom Hill involved on offense. (1 Viewer)

Jim Jensen 2.0 the former Dolphins who played from 81-92. He was the 3rd string QB, and he was used as a RB, WR and TE and the special team captain.
Here's the Wiki on Jim Jensen. Sounds a lot like Hill:
Nicknamed "Crash", he played 12 seasons in Miami where his best years came while teamed with quarterback Dan Marino and legendary coach Don Shula.[1] He was reportedly nicknamed "Crash" by Howard Cosell. As a rookie, Jensen was a quarterback was on the kickoff team, and obviously caught Cosells eye to be tagged Crash Jensen.

Jensen wore jersey # 11 because he entered the league as a quarterback. After Marino was selected in the 1983 NFL Draft, it became evident that Jensen would need to find another way to survive on the Dolphins roster. He became a human Swiss army knife, with a knack for making tackles on punt and kickoff coverages and converting third down opportunities as a running back or wide receiver in the offensive set with Marino.

I love the idea of him running jet sweeps, but the only problem I see with TH as a receiver is that he has small hands. They are 9”, and most good receivers are 9.5 or larger. Receivers with smaller hands tend to drop more passes and are more fumble prone. It doesn’t seem like much but small differences are magnified in the NFL. So he is good as a runner and gadget passer, but I don’t think he would excel as a receiver.

When you think about it, this is exactly the type of player Sean Payton loves. He has always liked crazy play calls. Hill is the ultimate deception player on offense.
