It seems they really chose Brian Burns over Barkley since they had plenty of capacity to sign Barkley otherwise. At the same time, they helped to end the narrative that any RB is as good as another. RB's are starting to get paid again, and I think that trend continues.LOL @ letting Barkley walk for cheap money but hamstringing your organization to this guy for stupid money.

you can't put Jones and Carr in the same category. i think Carrs worse season was still better than Jones best season. He is in the same position Carr was in with the Raiders a couple of years ago. He will be a FA next year and will likely sign with a QB desperate team (Panther's?)
His mom has been a customer of mine for over 13 years now (no I won’t disclose what I do). I see her every week. She will bring Daniel in pretty much every offseason, so I can talk to him. First met him when he was freshman in college. He’s a real solid guy and I will always root for him to do well.Nah man! We all get football decisions. How do you know the family like that? LOL.
I'm in the boat of not thinking Daniel Jones is that bad but over the past few seasons, he looks to have that 1000 yard stare. I think letting go a Barkley was stupid and their season would probably look better but it seems like he has gotten a little "gun shy" over the past few seasons. I wonder what happened. His mom has been a customer of mine for over 13 years now (no I won’t disclose what I do). I see her every week. He’s actually not that bad. He belongs in the NFL, but at a certain capacity. What capacity? That’s a million dollar question. No one will know unless he’s actually in a good situation. There have been way worse 1st rd QBs than him. He’s won a playoff game as an underdog, with almost no weapons, so he has something. Between his neck injury and not really knowing his future on the team, has affected him to a degreeI'm in the boat of not thinking Daniel Jones is that bad but over the past few seasons, he looks to have that 1000 yard stare. His mom would love for him to go to the Panthers, but that’s for selfish reasons (he would be local in Charlotte). She honestly doesn’t like having to travel to NY for games.Daniel Jones out of New York and to a smaller market like Carolina or a Tennessee Titans may emerge as a real threat in the NFL.
Take less money and allow a small market team to give him an Oline and with a running game and receivers. Dude might just surprise some folks.
he could possibly, but he's definetly gonna have to take a small contract. I don't think he's gonna get a $25M a year contract. he'llhave to do like Russel Wilson and sign for low to prove himself, or maybe even the Jameis Winston Route and sign for low as a back up for a year... i just don't see teams bidding for him...Daniel Jones out of New York and to a smaller market like Carolina or a Tennessee Titans may emerge as a real threat in the NFL.

Daniel Jones has a lot of talent. I just want to see if the young man leaves a big market and goes to a small market if he all of a sudden becomes a real good QB.His mom would love for him to go to the Panthers, but that’s for selfish reasons (he would be local in Charlotte). I agree he will have to lower his pay. Somebody will make a play on him. Backup pay may do him good as a lot of pressure will be off him. They should have chosen Barkley over Jones, but I think they felt we drafted him trap; thinking Daboll could fix him.Geesh…paid him all that money not too long ago, and got burned badly.
Tommy Devito is a baller. Needs work, but a very nice prospect for them.
I don't blamer her. Their stadium is a PITA to get to especially if you're from out of town. His mom would love for him to go to the Panthers, but that’s for selfish reasons (he would be local in Charlotte). She honestly doesn’t like having to travel to NY for games.
