I am the minority here and I am ok with it as I will say Jones is better than Carr.

And to the triggered, What has Carr accomplished with a longer career than Jones? Pretty sure Jones has a playoff win and Carr doesnt.

I would buy a Jones jersey today if he came to the black and gold.

Tommy Devito is a baller. Needs work, but a very nice prospect for them.

He’s in the same situation as Carr in LV, in that he has an injury guarantee that pays big money next year if he gets hurt. I assume the Giants are totally sitting him to avoid paying that because they’d have to even if they moved him, I think.

They're sending a clear message that they don't want to risk injury because he's no longer in the team's plans. He'll benefit from a different environment.

I never understood why they drafted in him in the first place. I remember something about the Manning’s wanting him to be the pick and having some influence.

I don’t remember who said it during the draft coverage that season, but i remember that Eli was close to retiring and it was brought up that he hand picked Jones due to the relationship with David Cutcliffe. Hand picked might be strong. Maybe endorsed is more accurate. Both the Mannings played for him and he was Jones’ coach as well.

I know and thats ok. Its just us fans talking around the water cooler. We all know neither is going to happen. Somebody would pay handsomely for DJ as a starter. We can barely afford to pay drafted players at this point.

Barkley left for Philly. He never wanted to stay. Go watch the hard knocks and listen to the convo with Barkely and the GM of the giants. Listen to the later episode between the GM of the giants and his agent. They offered him a good contract the prior year he turned down.

Yall think these two can be good? Not knocking you or anyone for thinking this. I just personally think these 2 are 2nd or 3rd string QB's for life in the NFL. Not saying they cant come in for a game or 2 and grab a win.

I just was not impressed with Rattler at all and I do get the Oline was full of injuries. Haener I would be more comfortable with than Rattler but still lol.

I think if one sticks around as a backup they will be lucky. Haener seems to have more upside but I don’t see him ever being a full time starter.
