Yeah I saw he ran a 4.56 at his pro day, so more like a 4.63 it would have been at the combine. But hey, if we run 2 safety sets maybe he can just be physical at the line like he has been and make plays on the ball. He showed amazing hips.

4.63 is tooooouuughhhh for a boundary corner. If he misses his jam at the line he's BBQ chicken against a speedy WR.

Wonder if he could play FS after Matheiu leaves? How's his tackling?

I don't know about starting him, but I do think he deserves a shot to compete for the starting job. I have some concerns that he's more of a man corner so he might not be the perfect fit for the matchup zone and pattern matching coverage that Staley often uses, but I'm certainly no expert so he could be better at it than I know.

He certainly showed some talent last year.
