Gonna need to bring it against the Rams! (7 Viewers)

Ridiculous, McCoy played all of 3 snaps in that game Carter did NOT wreck McCoy in the 3 plays he played SMH
What’s wrong with your common sense. If a player blows out his knee, did that happen 6 plays ago? When I guy tears an Achilles, did it happen in training camp, and now it’s just showing up? If I guy breaks an ankle, did he play thru it 3 quarters, then took himself out the 4th? You obviously don’t understand the game. You don’t gradually pull a groin. You think his groin was injured in camp and he played thru it? Get real. 🤡

Except Erik McCoy was matched up with Milton Williams on the play when he got hurt, so you can’t even do your little petulant snark correctly. Have a day, don’t care which kind!
Injuries don’t happen over time is my point. They happen on the previous play. I went and double checked it was Milton Williams who is 25 years old. Talented youth wrecks aging olines, is my point. And it happened on a single play. He was blown up and down immediately on a bull rush that bent him backwards and he must’ve hyper extended his groin. Then he was taken directly to the tent and didn’t come back to the game.

Do you read what you post??? You just contradicted what you posted!!! Who's to say that McCoy didn't strain his groin the week before negating your post that Carter wrecked McCoy. And just to show how wrong you are McCoy didn't even go up against Carter , in the 3 plays he played 2 were against Davis and 1 was against Williams. So how again is it Carter "Wrecked" McCoy ???

I clown or facepalm ridiculous posts and your was just that
I was wrong that it was Carter, but my point was talented youth wrecks aging olines. And Milton Williams is 25 years old. Watch the play, McCoy was manhandled and bent back and taken down. That one play knocked him out. He was not on any injury reports prior to that. Quit trying to imagine something to prove your point.

AGING !!!!! McCoy is 27!!!!! Just admit it your statement was ridiculous. LOL It's almost ALWAYS one play that knocks a player out. McCoy was not manhandled on the play in fact Williams was knocked down along with McCoy it was unfortunate that McCoy went backwards over AK

Ak ran to the sideline for a gain, what are you talking about? The camera panned to Aks run. In order to really see what happened you had to watch it multiple times. And clearly you didn’t. After McCoy went out Carter wrecked our team. Go watch the game again.

SMH , AK gets stopped at the LOS and bounces to the right McCoy trips over AK's foot and goes down and Williams along with him. I think it's you that didn't watch it multiple times

McCoy was not on an injury report, prior to. So you are wrong he was blown up and bent backwards and injured on one play. So you’re wrong to say “ridiculous”. As If it happened over time. Then Jalen Carter wrecked us, especially Ruiz, the rest of the game. He was unblockable. Talented youth dominates older olines, and even a 27 year old. The point stands, talented youth wrecks. And the Rams have a similar front.

Yes Carter is a very good DT, and he did take advantage of Ruiz like he has taken advantage of a lot of interior OL. It has nothing to do with age and we are very far from an older OL, in fact I'll say that we may be the youngest starting OL in the league. An OL operates as a unit unlike any in football. when 1 guy goes down it affects all of them , especially the C. Mike Detillier said in a article that when the C goes down in-game the team loses %70 of the time. That's how important the position is and McCoy is one of the best in the league. You do know players have minor injuries and bumps and bruises that are not listed on the injury reports right?

He was bent backwards and blown up. It was a run play. McCoy was supposed to be going the other way. The Mike Detillier percent is 80%, and it’s the team that loses their center fails to cover. Im making such a controversial point, “ young talented DLine are a force to be reckoned with”. And the Eagles version wrecked our team. period. And the Rams also have a force to be reckoned with. This is getting repetitive I’m done.

Injury reports are very unreliable. We have seen time and time again players who never show up on reports then suddenly get hurt and you hear from them or the team that player X had been dealing with injury Y for a number of weeks but yet they were never on the report. If your practicing hurt you may well never show on the report. Teams also aren’t 100% truthful on injuries, they should be but don’t for a multitude of reasons.

Your argument isn’t wrong when you have a large variance in age obviously a younger line is going to be a tad bit quicker and more physical, but in this instance that large age variance in just isn’t present:

Eagles DL average age = 24
Rams DL average age = 24.3
Saints OL average age = 24.6

McCoy is the elder statesman of the Saints offensive line having just turned 27 on August 27th.

If you’re strictly going off the entire roster age the saints have the 16th oldest roster in the NFL where as the Rams have the 31st oldest roster and the Eagles have the 27th oldest roster. The Saints are indeed older overall but our offensive line is not made up of aging veteran players.
