I had to run into the Walmart Neighborhood Market to get a couple of things that my grocery pickup was out of at the other store. I hit the mother load of discount Easter candy. 50% off.

There are benefits to the coronapocalypse. Nobody wants to go into the stores to find the discounted Easter candy. There's no way that three days after Easter there should be a whole display left of Elmer's stuff.

Cadbury eggs, but they aren't what they used to be.

People say the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist, but the true greatest trick he pulled was convincing anyone Peeps were anything other than inedible garbage.

it's amazing how bad some of y'all are at guessing the best candy which is obviously reeses peanut butter eggs
This is incorrect. The peanut butter to chocolate ratio is out of whack with the eggs. The answer is the Reeses mini peanut butter cups followed by the regular ones.

That reminds me, I was 2 weeks ago old when I found out that Peeps came from Bethlehem, PA!

Way ahead of you. I've already eaten a regular, a peanut butter, and a couple of mini caramel ones. :)
I've never had the caramel because caramel's not my jam. And never had the peanut butter before either because I didn't know such a wonderful thing existed in the world!

Oh, but that's not a Cadbury. Whew, I feel better now that the world hasn't been holding out on me.
No, technically it's not, but it's the next best thing if you like Reese's. Cadbury is still the winner for me.

The entire bag of Starburst jelly beans that I stress ate yesterday deserves at least a mention in the thread.
I keep a jar of those all year. Not my favorite, but other people love them.
