The player speed in Classic Slayer in juiced way the hell up. Like old school Halo. Sprint is totally unnecessary. You can actually get away from grenades.

Classic Slayer is what Reach should have been. /getoffmylawn.

Anyone know of a way to unlock just a single helmet accessory upgrade on Reach? Without affecting anything else?

I got the base model, and then spent the 200K credits on the 2nd upgrade, but when I did, it said you need to be a friggin Legend to get the 3rd upgrade for the helmet. What a load of crap, man. I'm a General Grade 4 right now, and it's gonna take a WHILE to get to Legend status just playing outright.

a little off topic here, but I've always thought Halo in general was much more fun than all other fps.

However, I have always hated how they make so much cool stuff for a game, and don't properly put it in multiplayer. I made, in my and my friends' opinions, a KILLER Halo 3 map with tons of weapons and grenades and vehicles, but the weapon and vehicle sets on the maps themselves are sometimes underwhelming in the name of "balance". You can keep all that stuff and have balance. You just gotta be careful where you put everything.
I can post a link to my map if anyone wants it. It can be downloaded to xbox 360 over xbox live. However, I'm sure most of you have moved on to Reach.

Although Reach's core gameplay is better than Halo 3's, I still find Halo 3 more fun if you customize the map with flame grenades, vehicles, teleporters, etc.
