Well, since they changed the thread title...It was: So Is Hargrove the NFL's snitch...?

and he got himself suspended........:hihi: Way to go Anthony...:9:

After the Saints took you in and gave you a 2nd chance in the NFL...Nice pay back...

Listening to WIST, Hargrove gave the NFL all the information they needed...

Yes.

Hargrove submitted a signed declaration to the NFL not only that the Saints' bounty program existed, but that he was an active participant in it. In addition, the NFL said that Hargrove told at least one player on another team that former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was a target of the Saints' bounty pool in the 2009 NFC Championship Game and that Hargrove obstructed the league's investigation in 2010 when he wasn't truthful with investigators.

In all fairness the NFL probably pressured him with threats of a year long suspension, and like most people he gave in, I'm sure he has a family he'd like to take care of, with that said, I'm a saints fan, so screw him haha

well it wouldnt surprise me at all if the NFL cornered Hargrove due to his sketchy past. ( Pre Saints )

And it wouldnt surprise me to find out that the NFL used certain "tactics" to get Hargrove to do this ( i.e. lesser sentence, held his past over his head etc etc )

Finally, it wouldnt surprise me if the NFL told Hargrove that this was a league wide investigation, we arent just singling out the Saints and that his info would help in ending this practice.

I feel bad for Hargrove and what he is gonna have to deal with on some level from Saints fans and maybe some players. He rebuilt his name and career here, and tarnished the names and careers of those who allowed him the opportunity to do so.

I'm not sure if he was the snitch...it doesn't look like he is the one that brought it to their attention, just that he did admit it to them.

I don't see your quote at the link provided, where did it come from?

Also, several players have said there was a "bounty" program, except that it was just like every other team's program where you get "bounties" for big plays, like fumbles, ints, etc.

I doubt Hargrove gave them any signed confessions of players specifically accepting $1000 for intentionally targeting and injuring someone.

It's the 2nd bulleted item about mid-page. But I don't see how that implicates Hargrove as the snitch.

the def. quality coach now at UConn is the snitch.many players provided information during investigation.as per goodell.he got caught in a lie.and re-canted his story

So Hargrove only serves 8 games for the Packers, but he gets to take out their biggest threat in the NFC's coach, gm, assistant coach, draft picks, $500k, and two key vets.

Can't see any ulterior motives there, can you? He should be the Packers' 2012 MVP before they play a down.

the one low character guy we sign, come back to bite us

I don't think he was a snitch. He's stupid though. He ran his mouth to another player(s) then when cornered by the NFL about his true confessions, he lied. After lying and being threatened with a total suspension, he confessed like a witness on Perry Mason.
