Yes.
Hargrove deserved that second chance and played hard for the Saints.

My thing is why is Hargrove even appealing? They said he signed a document acknowledging his guilt. What's the point of going back and saying I shouldn't be punished?

If he were the snitch, I don't understand why they would also accuse him of "obstructing the investigation?"

and suspend him for 8 games.

What I don't get is how Hargrove confirming the Bounty program coincides with his statement he made when the story broke back in March.

"In regards to the hit I made on Brett Favre that has been talked about: it was one of about five times I got to him and the only one that was late. I agree it was a late hit, but in the heat of the moment I was simply trying to make a play. I can assure you that when I got up, I was thinking two things, one, that I cost my team, and two, that I might have just cost myself some money if the NFL fined me.

But players all over the league do the same thing every Sunday, make late hits and say stupid things. This whole situation stinks to high heaven. I can already picture the NFL leaning on him. I mean, of all the names attached to this, Hargrove has had the lowest salary, played for the least amount of time, and has the most checkered past.

Real easy to see how someone could dangle a year long suspension on his head to sign an NFL prepared statement to they can wave that out in people's faces and go "SEE? SEE? We don't need to show you the evidence! This guy admits it!"
