Hats off to the fans in the Dome (1 Viewer)

I told that to my wife "God the dome is really loud.. do you hear this?!" Made buying my overpriced Bose speakers justifiable :p

its because they started putting a decibel meter on the jumbotron while the Saints D was on the field.

they showed it in the bottom right corner of the jumbotron, while the cameras were showing the players in the huddle up until they got set for the snap. once the fans took notice, they got louder to see if it would go up. it did.

I didn't see that!

Hey "O" , O sorry I didn't get a chance to say "Hello" to you as my wife and I came in for the game quickly and had to get back to Cally. Anyway, I feel, especially based on the way the Fans took notice of the DB meter being shown, that should be the rule during every Defensive Play as it will give everyone a visual goal to shoot for.

I suppose they stopped it when it became clear The SAINTS weren't in any mood to lose this one in any fashion and the crowd still stayed with the noise until it really thinned out by all of those who don't know how to finish off an opponent.

In any case, my wife's first SAINTS game in Da DOME ( we've seen 'em everytime they travel out this way) and she was sufficiently amazed at the whole experience, which is truly the BEST TICKET IN TOWN for entertainment~!

There were alot of Cowgirl fans there, and the only way I could drown them out was to yell louder. My throat is not 100% yet, so I'd figured to save that for Sunday!

I noticed that and thought good idea.

Couple of times , it was hard to hear the announcers, which was awesome in itself. Props.

Yes it was a great atmosphere in the dome , i only get to make a couple games a year with my job the way it is and it was as loud as its ever been when i was there , ears were ringing a couple times i know the people in the section i was in definitely did their part ...Who Dat

My friend and I were in 630, 4 rows from the top. Sooooo loud up there! Had Cowboys fans around. Good fans too. They knew, especially after the Boys didn't capitalized after the onsides kick, that it was all but done. High-fived us and hit the road. Pre-game was awesome! So was the fried shrimp at Felix's. Found a good deal on a Shockey jersey at Black and Gold. Weekend was a dream! WHO DAT?!

You could definitely hear the dome rocking on TV. I haven't heard it like that in a while. I'll be there for the game this Sunday, so we have to do a repeat or better yet get louder. Who Dat!

you needed at least two more beers in you to enable decibel-meter-vision. or two less. ill go with more.

I was at the game (and somehow didnt jinx us) and I saw the decible meter on the big screen. I think the highest I saw it get was 107.
