any rich dude who marries a younger woman deserves to pay whatever is ordered....seriously, when you are that rich, there is absolutely never a reason to get married, unless of course, you like giving money away

dumb

:hihi: sad but so true

Geez that is a very lame comment

She sounds selfish to me. So, her daughter can't afford to go on the holiday trips visiations with the $70,000 with her other expenses?

Mom can't dish out the rest with her millions?

Again, selfish!

I don't understand it. We know this millionare who is on his 3rd marriage.
He married this girl much, much younger than him. It's pretty obvious to all those close to him, she's a gold digger, and he wanted a(nother) trophy wife.

Why do these men not learn from their previous marriages that end up in high paying divorce?

Well it is Paul that is asking for these trips from her, why should she pay for trips he wants her to make?

Income ....or net worth ....BIG difference.

Well most of the guys that I know that are divorced don't really have net worth other than the house which they usually lose in the divorce. So again I think losing 6% of your net worth as opposed to the 50% that a lot of men lose in divorce he's still coming out ahead. :hihi:

Somewhere, John Lennon is chuckling.

Well considering Paul McCartney is worth around 800 million I think he can afford it.

Double that and you'd be right-- he's worth $1.6 Billion...

As far as what anyone "deserves"-- I don't see how any spouse is entitled to anything the other spouse earned before the marriage; but, in this case, since the laws are what they are, I think Sir Paul got off real cheap. After all, $50 million may seem like a lot, but it's all relative.

Ah, I don't care too much for money. Money can't buy me nub.

Wait, was that wrong? Should I not have said that?

Haha. Exactly.

Read the article Shockmo.

"The judgment included 35,000 pounds ($70,000) a year for the couple's 4-year-old daughter, Beatrice. Mills said she was unhappy with that amount because it isn't enough for school tuition, private security, or first-class airfare.

"He likes her to fly five times a year on holiday," Mills said of McCartney. "It's 17,000 (pounds) for two people return (round-trip) first class, so that's obviously not meant to happen for her anymore. It's very sad."

Now, this is just pathetic. Why can't Heather use part of her 50 mil to help pay for her daughter's expenses.

My thoughts exactly. That is where I stopped reading and then voted "no".

50 million could have bought him 20,000 hours with Eliot Spitzer's call girl.

He got robbed, IMHO.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080317/ap_on_en_mu/mccartney_divorce;_ylt=Ag3lJGJxUIytwMcK5u1GaqsDW7oF

"McCartney, 65, and Mills, 40, went to court last month to decide on Mills' share of his fortune, which had been estimated at as much as $1.6 billion.
Judge Hugh Bennett, however, found that the total value of all of McCartney's assets, including his business assets, was about $800 million."

Other than that I totally agree with you, she probably doesn't "deserve" the money she's getting but Paul is far from going into the poor house over this.
