High Mileage (2 Viewers)

123k on my wife's 2011 Ford Edge. This one is going to my daughter soon and Mrs. FL_Saint is likely getting a new Edge. My last truck I liked and kept was a 1998 Chevy Silverado which had 165k when I traded it. I was back and forth on cars/trucks for the last couple years, but I finally found one I like (2017 F150) so that one will likely get the same kind of mileage if not more.

I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty with 178k on it. Something broke in the transfer case new year's weekend so I've been driving my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with 8,700 miles.

The temperature is supposed to be about 34 Fahrenheit on Wednesday and I'll have the whole day to drop the front drive shaft so that I can drive the jeep to work and save the subaru.

I've had a 2007 Trailblazer since I bought it new in 2007. It just hit 200K miles last month. It's been very reliable and barely given me any trouble. I've just kept up with the routine maintenance and it's been fine. That said, I am looking to move on and probably buy a truck later this year.

1998 F-150. 222k. Mostly all highway miles. Complete front end replaced.
Driver window stopped working and heater went out. Rather put money on repairs than buy a newer truck.

2010 Jeep Commander - 257,000 miles. Just had to change the heater coil and heater box....other than that I change the earl and put on tires

In honor of 17 years and 251,643 miles I thought I’d start this. I can’t be the only one who keeps vehicles forever. Only things done to this is a water pump, oxygen sensor, 2 brake jobs and 3 batteries.

I put a ton of miles on them and think I keep them forever, but nothing like you do.

I like to buy 3 years old with as low mileage as I can find and then drive it into the dirt. My last Escalade was retired with 185k miles, but only after 5 years. I've put 75 on the new one after 3 years and it's bot 100k now so I'll probably have it another 2 or 3 years.

My wife just got rid of a 2011 450GL that she's had since 14 that's got 135k miles on it. I just don't think you get your money's worth unless you keep them 5 years or so.

I bought my wife’s Camaro with 7500 miles on it. Guy traded it in because his truck blew up and couldn’t afford 2 payments. It’s now at 155,000. At this point I doubt I’ll buy another new vehicle. The costs are ridiculous.

Almost 72K on my 2015 F-150 that I purchased in May 2015. That's the longest I've owned and most miles I've put on a daily driver. I did have a 2006 for a little over 4 years, but of those 4 years I spent 1 in Korea and 3 in Japan and only drove it over about 2 months.

2000 Nissan Frontier 253k miles. We have a love/hate relationship. It loves to break down and I hate working on it. I lie, of course. It's been a great vehicle for me and I love driving it. I've just had to put a lot of time, work and money into it lately to keep it on the road. Right now I need to change a faulty distributor, my A/C lost cooling, I have to jumper the compressor switch to make it run and I have no heater because the heater core blew out and while trying to remove one of the hoses the nipple that passes they the firewall broke off. I've yet to find a replacement.

Edit, meant to say faulty distributor. Made the mistake because I just replaced the alternator last weekend.
