Actually, the whole run defense has to. The key player to stop is Westbrook.

Having said that, don't know that Eagles will keep up with our offense by just running the ball unless Westbrook has a monster game.

You KNOW Hollis is gonna bring it.

1) The dome will flat be rockin ...even MORE than the MNF vs. the Falclowns.

2) Payton & coaching staff will have gone over game tape for even MORE to exploit.

3) Our LB's will give a lot of confusing looks to Garcia (...they've done it more than once this season).

4) Hollis Thomas had better NOT be single-blocked. If so, there will be NO LANES up the gut. Then, if Westbrook has to bounce outside, it will result in negative yardage when the run defense gets him upfield before he turns the corner.

5) Also, Michael Lewis will give us good field position for most of the game. Here's "Mission Impossible:" Who do they key on: Horn, Deuce, Reggie, Colston)? Looking for the Saints to score early & often. That would make Philly have to abandon the run. Then, having to play catch-up, Garcia will be getting to know our special player (turf) better than ever. :hihi:

As far as our overall performance, I want this game to have Lovie Smith and his assistants stay up at night (to game plan for).

The Eagles basically had to shut down Tiki and Plaxico today, and they didn't shut down Tiki and they were aided in their ability to limit Plaxico by Manning's less than stellar play and an injured Shockey. They will have a lot more to do against our O, which is heads and shoulders above NY's offense. Also, our D will be a lot more aggressive than the Giants' play not to lose scheme. Their D line really misses Strahan, and their corners are a soft as they come in the NFL.

He'll know Turf on a first name basis... Well, I guess he'd have to since he only has one name... But yeah, you get it :)

I dont think the Superbowl with the Saints in it in the Dome will even come close to the energy in the Dome that night.......... that was a spiritual experience!!!!!!!!

The entire FRONT FOUR will set the pace for our Def next Sat. We need Smith and Grant to get up field to keep Garcia in the pocket, moving up into the oncoming DT's. The DE's will also make Westbrook cut back into pursuing DT's/LB's. Thomas and Young in the middle need to eat up space and hopefully push Garcia into the waiting arms of Smith or Grant. It will be a long day if our DB's are making all the tackles next Sat, the Def line must play dominant.

Garcia rolled out of the pocket a lot today they are going to have to contain him force him to step up into Hollis.

Eagles were not impressive to me, actually Giants didn't do to bad of a job, but i didn't want them to be a buttery ride for Chicago to roll over, im glad Chicago get to meet up with Seahawks, Seahawks will be going into chicago Well matched up and with Limited injuries, Chicago is still shaky on QB's.

NEW ORLEANS -- Nose tackle Hollis Thomas is back with the Saints after his four-game suspension.

Thomas was suspended for violating the NFL's steroid policy. He's no longer taking a banned medication to treat his asthma condition, and he maintained he never should have been punished.

On Friday, the team will have its first full practice since the regular season ended.

Thomas said he intends to take his frustration out on whoever the Saints face in the second round of the playoffs.

Need we say more?

The thing that concerns me is Garcia scrambling outside the pocket buying time for his receivers downfield....I'm not sure our secondary can hold up too long if that happens..

I'm more worried aboat this game more than the championship game. Eagles are on a winning streak, & will be well motivated. But they're comming to our house, & they have the crowd to deal with besides the SAINTS. This is the one team I didn't want them to face.
