Have any of you watched this documentary on Netflix? One of my co-workers recommended I watch it. Only she was actually recommending that I watch the docu-series and I did not realize that this was different from the documentary.

If you have teenage daughters, I recommend you watch it. The first half of the documentary, I just felt sad and depressed watching the girls and thinking to myself that the dude whose house they stay in has got to be missing a chromosome. Then at about the halfway mark, I was horrified, disgusted and wanted to turn it off but it was like a bad car wreck. I'm horrified but I can't look away. I felt sick to my stomach all night.

When I told the girl at work that I started watching it she was like "Oh, you are watching the documentary. Yeah, it's pretty disgusting."

Someone asks a question or addresses a topic and you respond
Maybe it’s to directly address, maybe it’s just to keep the conversation going until someone else can directly address it

Look I get it, I dated a woman who was nonstop talk. constant. And when it was us by ourselves it could get a bit grating
But among Company, she was amazing - dinner parties our out with friends, everyone felt engages/included bc she was able to talk to anyone about anything
I’ve always admired her talent for social interaction

I did a search after I finished Broadchurch (this season,s plot being kinda related), and that doc looked like some heavy stuff - I’ll need to be in the right head space got that
And the “more like this” suggestions were)

I hear you. I wish I had known that I needed to be in the right head space to watch it and that watching it shortly after dinner was a bad idea.

Why the need for subterfuge? Just tell your wife you heard about this documentary and it seems important. Talking to your wife does not need to involve pandering.
