Hot Takes Welcome (Post Chargers Loss) (2 Viewers)

The refs were pretty one sided today. They missed at least 4 holding calls on the Chargers.

Meanwhile, the holding calls for us were drive killers. The oline blocking in general was bad. They had 3 guys unblocked on one running play.

Kendre Miller is special. Just need to figure out the injuries. I see why we went after Devante Adams. We need another weapon outside of Olave. The dropped passes were brutal.

Will Loomis show up on the coach show this week. Didn’t hear him gaslighting last week.

This team wining 3-5 more at most this season, assuming Carr comes back.

7-9 season with another top 15 pick at best

Convince me otherwise

They’d have to go undefeated the rest of the way just to have a chance of making the playoffs.

Season’s done. This is the truth.
3-5 more wins? There is some seriously good stuff legal in California where I live, but I'd love to have some of what you're having.

Were the refs one sided or did our team lack discipline more than theirs did? At some point we have to own that our team doesn't come ready to play football with good fundamentals.

Both can be true. We are already a bad team. But the refs not making obvious calls makes us even worse. If we are using the Penning hold as a barometer. The Chargers got away with a few.

I got blasted for posting something like this last week.

No we don’t need a meddling owner like Jones. Yes we need someone who is tired of mediocrity, wants to win, and lights a fire under the FO to make something happen.
Exactly. There are some people either moronic enough (or deliberately obtuse enough) to think there’s no difference between the two.

If we draft super early this year, we have to get a Qb that can literally be the franchise savior like what Jayden is doing at Wash. Without JD, say you started AD at the beginning of this year, then Wash would be the worst or second to worst team. Dont draft oline or any other position. Find the best college QB and draft him. Rattler would be great if he were taller and was more mobile. He’s got the other traits. You saw when he tried running it up the middle the hole closed, and he was tackled. Same goes for Haener. We have to hire an offensive minded head coach, because he’ll be needed to pick the QB. (My opinion would change if the scenerio was different). Also a top 5 pick may actually help to lure a top coach to the Saints. Our D shows that it’s not capable of being the heart of the team, but only a complimentary piece that can keep the opponents scoring on the lower end. Thats it.
