Why not one of those Tiny Homes that I've seen on that TV show. They can be pretty cheap and you could rent/buy a small piece of land for it and you can always pretty easily move it later. It's like a house boat but it won't sink? Put it by the water.

Too funny - just found out my cousin moved onto a houseboat (liveaboard catamaran he calls it)
It makes sense for him because he travels around videoing water sport/boat type things
Kind of a recreational, aquatic bclemms
