Or maybe having a different OC and HC every 2 years and re-learning a new system every 2 years is one of the reasons?
So Carr is the only player ever to experience coaching changes? Hurts has had a different OC every year and two coaches. Some guys don't have it, and an eleven-year sample size is all the evidence you need

One thing I am curious about is what were the complaints about DC for the first two games last year? Played against two decent talent level defenses and made them look silly. TH was a blocking fool and had 5 blocks that opened up beautiful lanes for Kamara. It was excellence on showcase, and then there were the WRs having their production. If we can somehow dial that up again next year, I would be stoked. I am ready. They need to look at my local team, Houston Texans and see how their success is working out. They drafted really good offensive tools and of course picking up Tunsil in FA a few years back was critical. They are still trying solidify their O-line but have to same issues we have with the injury bug.
It was easy to dial it up because the injuries hadn't happened yet, chiefly the one to Erik McCoy early in the Eagles game. And we didn't yet know the level of mismanagement going on with DA, with things like conditioning and mgmt of the injured list itself.

Blueball games.

Just another pair of wins against non-playoff teams for Derek Carr.

Carolina didn't really start their season until around week 12. Dallas was still reeling from the playoff shellacking and the off-season roster and contract nonsense.

Saints lost to Philly in game 3 and the season basically ended, just as it ended in game 3 the year before.

Florio keeping the door cracked open. I think it's unlikely, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

You're not totally wrong, but it also ended after the Eagles loss due to incredibly poor leadership at the top.

Sure, but there are the tipping point plays. Grupe's missed FG aginst the Packers, Goedert's big catch-and-run.

Seem really unlikely. If for no other reason, $40 million would be a lot of money for Gayle Benson to pay for a 3rd or 4th round draft pick.

Derek Carr being restructured is completely unsurprising. What’s funny is the folks who believed he would be willing to take a pay cut. Saints are just doing what they kind of have to at this point after royally screwing up the Brees/Payton transition.

Hurts had his best year in his first year under OC Moore.

Carr is about to have his first year under HC Moore.

Maybe have a little patience to see how it plays out?

4. Personally, I do not like Carr. How do you come to NOLA and the first food you eat is Chipotle? The Jaguars game where he's yelling and
screaming at Olave. No where to be found during Super Bowl week and Mardi Gras. He just does not fit the city and the culture. I don't think
he likes NOLA. Maybe there is some truth to what Michael Thomas has said about him.

First, he has kids and was in a hurry. Get over it.

Second, he moved his family here and the media and people despise him. Almost from day one. Emperor of Empty Yards and all that. So much so that he moved his family away. Why would he go to those things? Also, I really think some deal was in the works and he was going to be moved, but maybe it fell through, and that is not why he was at the SB.
