The way I see it is this:

If we win out that means we found a good HC in Riz and can feel pretty good moving forward.

If we lose out…well, it makes draft night more exciting when you have a top 10 pick.

Honestly I’d rather win out and feel confident in the HC again. It’s been awhile since I had that feeling.

For those of you who want to tank for draft position, I’ll pose the question this way. Why do you want a higher draft position? Its so we can win, right? Well, lets take a short cut and just win now.
This makes no sense. Let's just be Super Bowl champs too, right?

Always try to win. If a player, coach or owner doesn't want to win, I will follow another team.

There are other benefits: If you win, it becomes obvious which players you can count on.

If you lose, it's not always as obvious whether players are underperforming or others are dragging them down.

If Rizzi can prove he can win with this sheet, depleted roster, then of course I rather that because it means -- given an actually decent off-season and not crippling injuries next year -- we can actually win for real.

Again, if he's winning that means we can win, there's no need for hypothetical draft pick savior if we don't need saving, just improvement.

Neither is doing the same thing over and over again, hoping for different results. The team has been trying to "win now" instead of rebuild for how many years? At some point, ya gotta just throw in the towel, drop the dead weight and start again.

You keep saying again....yet, I don't think you quite grasp what "again" means.....cause it's what we HAVE ALREADY BEEN DOING. lol, get a clue

But you do realize that the front office that apparently can’t effectively plug holes to “win now” will be at the helm if they blow it all up and start from scratch?

Because Loomis is part of any rebuild or retooling - or at least will be a part of choosing the successor and we already know his decision making is suspect.

For every example of “blow it up” that worked out, there are probably 2 examples of “blow it up” that led to a decade of putrid sucking.
