How do you guys think Bruce Arians will do this season? (3 Viewers)

The fact is Jamis Winston has great talent. The problem is he's an immature brat. If Ariens can get him to grow up & listen, that team is loaded with enough talent to win ten games. And Ariens is good enough to get them there.

He's the second best coach in the division.

I still think a lot of Rivera -- I wonder how he would be with less of a knucklehead for a QB. That's a very difficult coaching situation to be in.

Vegas has him/them at 6.5 wins this season. I would say that’s about right and would be very surprised if they win more than 7 games.

100% agree with your post. And he seems real classy. He's got more out of those Kitty teams than I thought possible time and again.

I think he's gonna silent tank

Rivera is a bum. A good coach don't lose 7 straight games. He's a relic that can't modernize.

Meanwhile, bums don't usually go 15-1 and get to the Super Bowl, either. I put that losing streak in with what happened to us in 1993 -- we started out 5-0 but it was a bit of a mirage, the team had gotten old all of a sudden and all those years of coming close and failing hadn't built any confidence, and things just collapsed. Panthers started their massive rebuild a little late, and last year it showed, and I put a lot of that on their FO.

Since he got there, we're 8-6 against them (omitting last year's meaningless season ender), so it's not like they aren't regularly prepared to play us.

They've had year to year inconsistency, but i'd hardly put him in the bum category.

Arians scares me -- he's a players' coach with a smart offensive mind. They're going to be a handful this year.

God, to be able to spend a couple of season in the AFC East or South, for once.

I think it all depends on what he can get out of crab legs......................it's well known and very well documented that he isn't the brightest bulb on the tree!

I don't think much of him as a head coach.

He has a good reputation among coaches, but so did Jeff Fisher. I don't see it.

He likes to be aggressive even when the situation doesn't merit it. I believe as a result, there are no consequences for making mistakes on his teams. "I was just being aggressive coach."

His teams love him and that love is shown by 11 individuals on the field. Not a team.

So he can come in, inject some enthusiasm and be pretty good for awhile. But that doesn't last. Two years tops Maybe three if he has "bad-cop" coordinators But it eventually turns downhill into a talented team giving away games and Ahrens looking for a new job.

College offensive coordinator should be his coaching ceiling.
