How good was Carr in his first start as a Saint? (1 Viewer)

He single-handedly saved the game the D won. He is who we thought he was. A great QB who makes an inexplicable throw every once in a while. Not Farve level, but disturbingly in the same neighborhood.

Beyond the raw numbers, he was under duress seemingly every time he dropped back, in a game that defenses dictated.

Obviously the thinking fan doesn't want to get over-excited after just one game, but the fan's fan is buying tickets to the SB :hihi:

And heck, after the last 3 seasons, enjoy it and dream on.

I know it's not Carr's fault, but the red zone offense needs to work on some good routes and plays. We choked a lot there, seeming due to poor design.
I'd like them to play more of our big pass-catchers on the field in the red zone. That our red-zone trips really didn't get inside the ten, is probably the reason that we didn't see some of those three tight end sets I look for as the season progresses. Getting Kamara back will help too.

Now imagine him in the dome with good protection!
