How many Bad Games from Carr would make you call for Spencer Rattler to start ? (1 Viewer)

I'd like to groom Rattler like Green Bay has done their last 2 QB's. Would make the most sense. There is no hurry and even if he played now he wouldn't be better than Carr.

The failure on the team this weekend was a failure to get positive yardage running and screens on first and second down. If you put Carr in a situation where it is 3rd and long all day long the team's chance of success is minimal. He is not Josh Allen. 1st and 2nd down is on the team. 3rd down is on Carr. Team struggled with no center or Hill.

I said he gets a clean slate from last year but 2 and 5 with a timeout down 3
that was not the throw to make
Take the sack throw it away that was a play I can accept from rattler not a. 10 year vet

What makes you think Rattler is ready even if that was the case. How would it be any better with more possible injuries or bad line? It's 1 game a defensive game at that let's not overreact and turn on players and coaches after week 3.

I think he is saying our backup QBs are not "homes," when compared to
Patrick, but rather, they are "trailers."
Hopefully he believes that they are at least Winnebagos. 😉
I think he's saying that, too.
I also think I was making an attempt at a bad joke.
But I could be wrong about both.

This season, you'll need to show me Carr being the weakest link before I'd be ok with benching him. If I've learned anything early this season, it's that Carr can be very good when put in the right position. We haven't done much of that in his 20 games by putting a bad O Line in front of him and not having a full compliment of weapons. So it'll take more than the team having bad offensive games, it'll have to be egregiously bad play from Carr himself.
