How will Mickey Loomis try to gaslight us this week? (8 Viewers)

Jimmy Johnson was making the decisions then, not Jerrah. What's Dallas done since Jimmy left? The SB they won with Switzer was Johnsons team
I know, but it will be the latest pitch by Loomis to tell us that DA will turn this team around and that he is the right coach to guide this team.

Looking beyond the results could apply to a young franchise qb that is getting better or a young ascendant team that is learning to win - but that ain’t what’s going on here.
Right, if Dan Campbell in Det 2 years ago when they were off to a slow start said "Look beyond the results, I think we're really at the start of something special and you'll see it soon" he would've been justified as they went on a tear to end the season and then made the NFCCG last year. But yeah, doesn't apply here.

Dallas went 1-15 and then 3 years latter became a dynasty
You can't compare the 2 teams. 1st that was 89 , before FA. AND they got one of the biggest windfall of players and high draft picks for Herschel Walker in NFL history

I'm not, but Loomis sure will. He compared Knoll, Landry, JJ, BB and other HOF coaches to DA

He’ll say something to the effect that “Vince Lombardi couldn’t win with all the injuries that Allen has suffered ” and that they competed well despite the injuries.

There we go. I think.that was the only coach he didn't include in his speech a couple weeks ago

Yeah but they had Jimmy Johnson and a future HOF QB in his rookie season.

It's going to take the Saints 3 seasons or more just to be able to breathe again but that may be a reach for this teams' front office and management.

There's not just coaches that need to go................................there are also players who need to be shown the door.

It's fire in the hole time for the Saints right now!

Yeah I got that. I wasn't contesting or trying to do a one up.
"You are viewing this team in regular three dimensional terms. I have opened my third eye and aligned my chakras. I see beyond results. I see beyond this reality. Somewhere in the multiverse this team is undefeated. That is what I see." - Mickey Loomis
Did Loomis really say this?

Well I know that Nick Underhill has good sources and if is hearing that DA is safe then there’s a bigger problem. So if that’s true then that only confirms the apathy and complacency that has set in with the upper management. Mostly ML and DL.

It will never happen because ML is Gayle’s biggest advisor but she needs to get an outside consultant firm to confirm the obvious and decide for her if she doesn’t want to be the “horrible” owner that got rid of DA, ML, DL.

She hasn’t learned yet that it’s a business and nothing personal. Unfortunately part of the culture that SP help create was a family type relationship with coaching, management and ownership. That works fine when you’re winning, making the playoffs or legitimate contenders. But…….we aren’t and haven’t been for a while.

It’s just time for a reset, from top to bottom. Roster included. We need a coach that brings aggression, attitude, and that has more control of all the football operations. Sound familia?

Yes we are looking for the next SP but honestly we already had that guy on our staff in Dan Campbell and I think Sean saw it.

Just my opinion but I could care less if we find a young defensive coach like Dimeco Ryan (Houston) or if you feel like Klint is the next SP then fine but ultimately that trigger needs to be pulled by ML or the bigger move is Gayle resetting and removing stale upper management.

What exactly did ML do in his 15 years in Seattle before coming to the Sainin 2002 and allowed the catastrophe of Jim Haslett who was up into that point a good defensive coordinator just not a head coach. Sound familiar?

How much of the SP hire and bringing DB to New Orleans was ML or Tom Benson wanting to poach a young brilliant offensive coordinator from Jerry Jones and Dallas?????

So, once again. What significant contributions has ML done for the organization in the last 10-15 years? Make horrible contracts that are backloaded with dead money that Hartley has to figure out how to juggle them into the cap every year. Yes SP added to that but ultimately the GM signs off on those deals and Gayle along with us the fans pay for it.

So I’ll ask you. What exactly have we got for our money or has Gayle lately. Where’s the return on investment?
