In the early 90's with a damn good coach who knew how to evaluate talent. Saints aren't headed anywhere near dynasty land with this group they've assembled to run the show.

It's not hard to turn a team around when you are on the plus side of the 2 dumbest trades in NFL history , The Herschel Walker and the Steve Walsh deals. Plus there was no FA at the time so players could not leave and you went 1-15 the yr before and had your own high picks. Jimmy Johnson may be the the most over rated NFL HC. Just look at what happened when he went to Mia. NOTHING

I have no problem with firing DA. My position has always been that Mickey carries the majority of blame for the condition of the Saints. Clean house and I'm good. I just don't want them to use DA as a scapegoat.

Yes. I've read many of your post. You have been consistent in this. I too believe like you do, that DA is only a symptom among many. Loomis is the virus and Sadly maybe the owner.

Yep. Ultimately it's Gayle, but there can't be a change there. I hope she goes down the same route she went with the Pels and hires a President of Football Operations (like she did with Griffin in basketball).

If they just replace DA, I feel sorry for the next coach. Set up to fail. This team has kicked the can so far down the road it's going to take years to recover.

Heck.yeah, I love Buccess. And when I'm on the road if possible I try only to stop there.
