How would you feel about the Saints signing a QB instead of drafting one? (2 Viewers)

without looking I agreed with what you said but you might wanna go compare tannehill's numbers with drew's chargers numbers.

the edge goes to tannehill strangely enough.

Very true. But i wasnt really talking about numbers. Stats are misleading. I was talking about their impact on their teams. At the time, Drew had already been to a Pro Bowl, won his div title, & went to the playoffs. He was well on the rise already. Tanehill may have stats, but he's done nothing for his franchise. 5 years in, Drew was on the cusp of all pro status, while Tannehill appears to be on his last life in Miami.

Draft a player in the late rounds who has not disproven himself elsewhere, manipulate the offense to make him look good in preseason, mop up duty, and spot starts if they happen, and flip him for a higher pick later if you dont think he is Aaron Rodgers.

Or if we can get Terrelle Pryor for cheap, he was just as good as Chase Daniel or Luke McCown starting at QB, plus he gives us a taller Donte Stallworth type to coach up at WR.

I say continue to put pieces around Drew. Build up this team so when Drew does call it a day whoever does win the job will have a very good team around him. Personally I would be in favor of a good young veteran.

Why would we sign another QB if the heir to Drew Brees is already in the building?

If we could get Teddy Bridgewater in a Saints uniform, I'd be freakin' ecstatic...
