I would agree with you, but it has happened before to other teams, we've seen it.Not going to happen.

Of these three coaches, I think I would go with Weaver.Kafka or Rizzi with Weaver as a darkhorse if the Saints truly do seem as high on him as I've seen two or three sources indicate.
Good post. With McCarthy and others pulling out, I think its obvious an agreement has been made. If he pulls a Liam Coen on us then thats a real bad look all around. I don't think the Saints would have waited to interview McCarthy till the end of the week if it wasn't just to entertain the idea. If Moore said no on Monday, I think the Saints would be way more urgent in interviewing and throwing a bounty at McCarthy and not wait 4 days to do it.
If Moore does say no, then its throw everything you can at McCarthy to change his mind, or ride with Rizzi and take a hard look internally at why we had to settle with that.
Yep, it happened in 2018 with the Colts and Josh McDaniels. They had agreed to terms, but after the Super Bowl McDaniels decided he wanted to stay in New England and backed out. The Colts pivoted to Frank Reich, who had been the OC for Philadelphia, who had just beaten New England in the Super Bowl.I would agree with you, but it has happened before to other teams, we've seen it.
It would be very underwhelming...If the Eagles win and he's feeling a little attached to the team, he could decide to run it back with them. Or if they lose he could do as Ben Johnson did last year and feel like he needed to give it one more shot. Nobody really know until they are in that moment. If that happens then it will look very bad for the team even if it has nothing to do with them because it would have been like the 4th guy to pass on the job. But we would still have a coach with Kafka, Weaver or as a very last resort, Rizzi.
Yes and no.It will leak out in the media if he's truly the guy.
Based on articles and posts here you would've thought Brady was clearly the favorite over Moore. He dropped out before the AFC title game so we didn't have that bad performance to consider. So you might be right that Moore was the favorite all along and we lucked out that his team is still playing and Brady's isn't.Good post.
I'll add that it is likely, imo, that the reason that Brady dropped out was due to sharing an agent with Moore. I believe the agent was aware of the Saints heavy interest in Moore and recommended that Brady should drop out as he was unlikely to beat out Moore. Again this is opinion based on at least a modicum of logic and a small amout of ear-to-the-ground.
It has probably been between Moore and Glenn right from the start regardless of media and/or fan prognostications.
I’m not sure there’s been any concrete info to suggest Brady was a preference. Or Kingsbury.Based on articles and posts here you would've thought Brady was clearly the favorite over Moore.
