I have a Patriots question: (1 Viewer)

I can’t think of a time since at least the 80s when either the NFC West or the South was a runaway for the same team year after year.

49ers got a challenge from the Rams and or Saints most seasons. The South champ has been spread around.

They have a more challenging stretch week 9-14, the rest of the schedule is easy

@ Baltimore week 9
Bye week 10
@ Philly week 11
Dallas week 12
@ Houston week 13
KC week 14

Dallas is not a challenge for them and Mahomes will probably be injured (ankle) by then. Not to mention Watson may not be healthy either with the beating he is taking. And for good measure, Wentz may be injured as well?

The current cumulative record of the opponents, 16 game Patriots schedule is 29-47.
The current cumulative record of the opponents, 16 game Saints schedule is 40-38-1.

The BYE weeks make the numbers different.
